Dear Miss G, ( / whoever else reads this)
Hello, today in class I felt alone, lonely, and abandoned. That's why I didn't want to participate in anything. I missed that little Asian. I can't function anymore. I don't think I can take any more pain that this activity is giving me. YES, I want to make videos, but the ideas I want to do are on the brink of impossible. I need my video group. Randy Jacob Daniel and I. Then, all things are possible. Then, the world will have peace, and all issues will be resolved. Such as world hunger, education to the poor, a cure to Cancer and AIDS, close Guantonomo Bay, and most importantly, headaches our class gives you.
So take all this information in. Think about it, and tell me the verdict.

Mr. Hatton, what you've just said is one of the most amazingly intelligent things I have ever heard. At no point in your awesome, respectable thoughts were you even close to anything that could be considered an irrational thought. Everyone in this room is now smarter for having listened to it. I award you many points, and may Miss G listen to your wisdom.

ReplyDeleteSecond. I am sorry you felt that way. Now try to understand where I am coming from. There are three parts to my research (hence why we are doing films). Part 1 films are fun and interactive learning. Part 2 films may help you remember the content for the class. Part 3 Groups help you to learn how to cooperate.
In the real world, to be successful you must learn how to cooperate with people you may not want to or thought you had to. If you shun the guy sitting in the cubicle next to you that is bad buisiness.
Everyone's groups are based on grades, creativity and technology experience. So if I were to just switch groups around so others could be with their friends it would hinder my research. I am already making changes that will take an effect AFTER this film. I need to know that you can all step up to the plate, forget differences and produce something that is good. This was not supposed to be an easy task. I wanted to challenge you so that you could learn something.
Also you have it quite nice with a little buddy in your group (Jacob) because if you notice none of your other friends have that luxury but they are working with their groups without problems.
If any change is to be made in groups, you need to make the change in how you are working in class. simple. I hope you understand and think over what I have had to say (minus grammatical mistakes...again I am not an English teacher :) )

So the little Asian and I have been doing some brainstorming in second block (yes, we are bypassing class), and we came to the verdict, the two people that we need to add to our group is Donhnall Godfrey and Zachary Binx. With maybe a side of James P. Clements. Maybe then we could find the inner cooperation inside of our souls to make the most epic educational videos ever.
