99% of the time yes. Sometimes I like to do my own thing though.

This class has helped me grow. Both as a student and a person. Student-wise I have learned to focus more on due dates. I have also became aware of what teachers expect, and they won't let you slide by with just barely doing what you are asked. It takes a lot of work to succeed, but anything is possible, and in the end, it is all worth it.
Person-wise This class has helped me grow. I have developed extroidanary skills of working with people. I have learned how to do that effectively. I have learned respect, and what it takes to earn it.

Describe creating and filming a music video, in detail. Did you enjoy making the music video more than the past videos? Did the rubric help you? explain. What is the easiest part of filming? What is the most difficult part of filming?explain. Who was your leader and how well did they do? Out of all your group members that you have had, who has been the best leader and why?

Well the first couple days of this week we brainstormed, then recorded our song, then took alot of photos to collage for the film. I enjoyed the Introduction video the most to be honest. Yes, It gave me guidelines to follow. We didn't really film, we took pictures. Well the most difficult part was, we had to take A LOT of pictures. I was the leader. I feel I did alright. I took ideas from everyone in the group and ran with it. I've been the group leader like every other week. So I have to be the BEST!

Did the writing assignment help you learn about the French and Indian war? Did the writing assignment help more than the films that you have produced or seen? Is there anything about the French and Indian war that you have a question about? The next subject we will be learning about will be the consequences of the French and Indian war and the problems that started the American Revolution. You will be making your last movie starting friday. Over the weekend you will have to get together or discuss with your group the lyrics. That is your homework assignment and will be worth points, of course! Would you rather be able to choose your genre of music or your topic?

Yes it did, greatly. No I believe the films help me learn better because I am a visual learner. I have a question, I really don't understand General Braddock's role in the war. Deffinetely Genre!!!!

I know that it is Thanksgiving break but you still have to blog! After reading the article tell me one interesting thing you found about it and why you find it interesting. There will be a writing assignment attached to the French and Indian war. It can either be a formal two page paper OR a blog entry 600 words or more. Which would you rather do? Each assignment will focus on a chosen character's (list will be given upon return) point of view of the war; using historical events. You will have time in the computer lab to work on both. Compare one aspect of your thanksgiving plans to those who would have lived during the 1700s. AND Have a wonderful break!

Throughout all of the sections we have convered in Chapter 5, which did you find most interesting?and why? I found the Great Awakening the most interesting. Maybe it was the picture in the book that first drew my attention, but after we read about it I became very interested. Out of the movies that you saw (4 of them) whose do you think was the best? or did the best to enhance the lecture? I believe mine was the best, once again. Even though you said there was a time filler in the middle, it still got the message it was supposed to get acrossed. After taking the test on Chapter 5 sections, was there anything in the movies or while filming your movie that you rememberd which helped you answer test questions? Yes, the parts to Randy's video help me remember things on all the tests. There is only 1 more film left and it will be themed as a music video. How do you feel about that idea? I am scared to be honest.

Week 9
How has filmmaking become easier? It has actually become harder, because of a new group this week. What problems are you still running into? Arguments has slowed our group down. Has the videos enhanced the lecture? Yes. Who was your leader and how did they take an active role in the group? Ashely, she convinced Justin to start doing stuff. We will only be doing one more film. Who would like to see as the leader? Me. /// and what would you like to try and do that you have not done yet with the films? I would like to make something epic. I'll keep it a surprise though.

What is your opinion about the test on Ch.4S.4 and pages 126-128? What topic do you have for filming? If you could create a film based only on your idea and had group members who agreed to do your idea no matter what. What would your film plot be?

The test was a breeze. We have the topic that is on page 131-132 I think. We are basically doing my idea. My idea is very good, in my opinion.

Name an early colony in New England, the date it was established and a short description of the colony in the 1600s. Connecticut, 1665. In the 1600s, it was just becoming a colony. In 1687 they had to surrender their charter. Do you think you could have lived like the Puritans/Pilgrims in New England after learning about their daily life and customs? Why or Why not? I think I could, I am always ready for an adventure. Wednesday of next week will start filming again, do you look forward to filming? Yes, I can't wait to film, and have a good ol' time with my new group. Film topics will range from pages 131 to 144 (not including p.143) Glance through the pages and choose one topic you might be interested in learning more about and why? I am interested in all of them, because I love history!

Week 6

If you could give the power point then lecture a 1 - 10 rating 1 being the highest. What would you choose? and Why? I would choose a 7 because it was very good, although I wish we could have more time to learn. 45 minutes is really tough.Was there anything in particular that you disliked or really liked about the lessons this week? I wish we could have incorporated the videos a little bit more. If you could have been apart of any country's team of explorers (that we have discussed in Chapter 3) which would it have been and why? Spain, because they are the best!If your group had a change, what is your reaction to the group change? I'm stoked! I'm totally going to show everyone that I can succeed even with setbacks.. BYAHHHHHH!

WEEK 5

If you were to give your film a rating from 1 out of 10 (10 being the best) what would it be? 2, I feel the film had much better expectations, and it just didn't come up to par. Did the movies during the lecture enhance the lecture or distract you? It enhanced the lecture, and made learning easier. After watching the videos with class is there any subject you would have rather done if given the oppurtunity? Nope. Name one thing you remember from the lecture that made you want to look up more information while on the internet after you posted your blog? I would like to look up some information about Ponce De Leon. ;(

Well, today you told my group to remake the film. I personally think that was a great idea. I would like to see what the others can do on their own. Did you find it difficult to think of an idea to creatively express history?Yes, I did actually. Who did you work well the best in your group? Jacob, and Miss C. Who was your group leader and how well did they do? We don't know who the leader was. I think it was me. If it was, I did an awesome job. Did you feel like you had enough time to complete the video assignment? No, having an ISE day on Friday, didn't help the scheduling of our video whatsoever. What was your role in the film and what is one thing you would have changed in the film if you had more time? I was the Director, I filmed. One thing that I would change if I had more time would be having Ashley in our group.

Dear Miss G, ( / whoever else reads this)



Hello, today in class I felt alone, lonely, and abandoned. That's why I didn't want to participate in anything. I missed that little Asian. I can't function anymore. I don't think I can take any more pain that this activity is giving me. YES, I want to make videos, but the ideas I want to do are on the brink of impossible. I need my video group. Randy Jacob Daniel and I. Then, all things are possible. Then, the world will have peace, and all issues will be resolved. Such as world hunger, education to the poor, a cure to Cancer and AIDS, close Guantonomo Bay, and most importantly, headaches our class gives you.
So take all this information in. Think about it, and tell me the verdict.

What was one thing you remember about the lecture given in class? What lecture? Do you look forward to making a historical film for the next section? Well, If you take Jacob's advice, then yes. If you could add one more person to your group who would it be and why? Randy, nooooo... I take that back, if he was in my group, we would fight over who would edit it. Anyway, If I could add two people to my group, it would have to be Miss G and Miss L.

How is your video planning going in your group? Video planning was very complicated in the beginning, but in the end, it all worked out. Do you enjoy working with your group members? Yes. What is the meaning of your group name? Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War. Are you having difficulties using the equipment? Nope, the equipment is relatively easy to use.
